When I got the message to take pictures of Kata, I was thrilled! My mind instantly went to finding a unique location to capture her on such an amazing journey. I check Airbnb almost daily for new photo locations, places to stay (for if I ever get a chance to travel), and well just to let my mind take a vacation through pictures. This location popped up almost instantly and I just had this gut feeling that this was it, this was the perfect spot! A wall covered with Rolling Stone magazine covers, generations of music legends and a bright "American" neon light. It looked like a musicians oasis. It was perfect. I sent over all the locations, my fingers crossed and almost instantly heard back! She chose the same one! The owner Devin was awesome! He was flexible, helpful and very nice! Renting the space was a breeze.

Let me just say, all those wonderful things you hear about Kata... They are true! She is down to earth and just a kick ass human being! It's like a light filled the room when she walked through the door, instant warm greetings and excitement, enough to get us all even more pumped up.

She was fun and energetic the entire session. It was an absolute pleasure getting to take her photos and meeting her super sweet, supportive girlfriend, Savanna.

The second location is the DCXV mural (by Adrien Saporiti, Creator of I BELIEVE IN NASHVILLE®) at Center 615 in East Nashville. It's so bright, colorful, and fun!
